Never been to a music concert before, this will be my first

Happy that HU is going to be my first live music experience. Ive never been to a live music concert before so is there anything I should know beforehand?

It says it starts at 7, how early should I get there?

Is it a bad idea to bring coat and bag?

Also going by myself as my friends arent keen on this sort of music, should be a fun night though
